A Statement from our Co-Founders

Former President Donald Trump has been named the President-elect of the United States of America. 

Trump continues to be a dangerous, racist, misogynist that has no regard for anyone other than himself and his ilk. The Liberation Nexus Lab will continue to hold fast and true to our belief in liberation and justice for all people. This requires deep abolition work in systems that people like Trump use to exploit the planet and humanity for personal gain. 

We are grieving and invite you to grieve as well. We acknowledge the fear and hopelessness that many of us are feeling. Even though many of us expected an outcome of this nature, due to the history of white supremacy in the United States, it doesn't mean the betrayal isn't salient.

Our work has to continue. We have no time or space for platitudes. The commitment to our collective liberation must be rooted in community.  We make our future and we will center joy and love amidst the fight. Take a deep breath and remember that we persist.
