Meet Emerald and Erin
Our Story
In 2020, at the very beginning of the covid-19 pandemic, Erin and I met one another. It was through a progressive leaders program. From the moment that we had an opportunity to sit and chat and gain an understanding of how the other experienced and understood the world - it was clear that we were going to be connected for a long while. Fairly quickly, we became one another’s ‘go-to’ if we needed perspective or capacity in our individual consulting work.
The thing about our relationship is that it is free of ego and judgment. Since our meeting, Erin and I have found the beauty in the authentic relationship that we’ve cultivated via honesty, care, hard truths, and vulnerability; this all shown through in our collaborative work and community efforts. We have built a relationship that allows each of us to show up in the fullness of our humanity with one another. I’m the type of partner who’ll spend entirely too much time reflecting on a single idea, theory, or philosophy, losing track of time. Erin on the other hand, has the natural ability to reel me in, listen to the all of the reflections I have, and start to move us towards tactical and strategic application. And, that continues to be the way that we work.
Our time together is filled with thoughtfulness of one another’s humanity rooted in joy and whimsy. We lean into our dreamscape to better imagine what a liberated society could look like and how we help steward our collective journey towards that society.
We celebrate, love, struggle, learn, and grow together in all ways, and look forward to continuing to welcome others into our growing community and quest for authentic collectivism rooted in anti-racism, justice, and liberation. - EAF
