Issue 3: It’s Been a Week

As we arrive at the end of a VERY long week, we wanted to take a moment to share a few words of wisdom before we dive into our official statement and updates.

Our goal with the Liberation Nexus Lab has always been to build community and plant the seeds for a new future - and that doesn’t change with this election outcome. Even if we ended up with a Harris administration, it wouldn’t instantaneously fix everything. We know that a kind and liberated society requires building power outside of the ballot box.

We invite you, our community members, to join us as we plant those seeds and co-create that future. One way to do that is to join our 30 Day Challenge that we’ll be kicking off in January. You’ll also find a lot more information about our offerings below or feel free to be in touch if you just want to connect.

Take care of yourselves. Rest. Find joy in small moments.

In solidarity,

Erin and Emerald

A statement from our co-founders

Former President Donald Trump has been named the President-elect of the United States of America.

Trump continues to be a dangerous, racist, misogynist that has no regard for anyone other than himself and his ilk. The Liberation Nexus Lab will continue to hold fast and true to our belief in liberation and justice for all people. This requires deep abolition work in systems that people like Trump use to exploit the planet and humanity for personal gain.

We are grieving and invite you to grieve as well. We acknowledge the fear and hopelessness that many of us are feeling. Even though many of us expected an outcome of this nature, due to the history of white supremacy in the United States, it doesn't mean the betrayal is any less jarring.

Our work has to continue. We have no time or space for platitudes. The commitment to our collective liberation must be rooted in community.  We make our future and we will center joy and love amidst the fight. Take a deep breath and remember that we persist.

Starting January 6, 2025, join us for 30 days of reflection, resources, and inspiration in understanding your liberation journey. We know that finding and using our voices in community building and anti-racist work can often feel like a big undertaking.

Let us help you, over 30 days, build your muscle in liberation and abolition work, while finding community and care with others seeking to radically re-imagine the world for us all.

Complete this form to express your interest in joining Liberation Nexus Lab's 30 Day Challenge. We will be in touch in December with more information on the Challenge, pricing, and what to expect.

Event Timing: January 6th - February 8th 2025

You Are

Unstoppable

What does it take to move outside of the boundaries that keep us boxed in — or boxed out? In part, it means letting go of perfectionism, and allowing yourself to be seen. But what do we do when the structures around us don’t allow us to do that? Or only let us get so far?

Love, Life, Death, Home

I had forgotten how important it is to mark these life-changing milestones with ritual, for us and for others.
